Alife Rivington Club opened in September 2001, as a first of its kind purveyor of quality footwear. Looking to expand their operations, the founders of Alife® (Rob Cristofaro, Tony Arcabascio, Arnaud Delecolle, and Tammy Brainard) opened the A.R.C. just a short walk from the original Alife store on Orchard Street in Downtown New York City. Alife Rivington Club was one of the first sneaker boutiques to hit the scene, ahead of the curve stocking obscure silhouettes before the brands that made them made their way downtown. Making the most of the narrow retail space, Alife Rivington Club has revolutionized how merchants used spaces to market various products.
